Team Description:
Tytherington FC U9’s 1987 football team, managed by Ben Hamand and coached by Ben Robinson and Derek Lownds are a vibrant group of young athletes, dedicated to developing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each player brings their unique talent to the field. Under the guidance of our experienced coaches, the team has been progressing rapidly learning not only the fundamentals of football but also the importance of collaboration.
From thrilling victories to challenging setbacks, the players have shown incredible resilience and determination playing an age group up during the 2024/2025 season in the Stockport Metro League. Every practice and match is an opportunity for growth, and the team continues to build on its strengths. With a positive and supportive environment, the team are shaping up to be the future stars of the game. We’re excited to see what this season holds and are confident that these young players will continue to exceed expectations.
The team train on Thursday evenings between 6pm and 7pm, and play on a Saturday in the U10’s Mid-Cheshire League and U9s Manchester Youth Super League
