Team Description:
Tytherington FC U8’s Rovers are entering their second season together in the Mid Cheshire League, and the progress they’ve made already is something to be proud of. With every match they play, the team continues to develop their skills, understanding of the game, and most importantly, their confidence on the pitch.
At the heart of the Rovers’ ethos is inclusivity and enjoyment. Every player is given the opportunity to be involved in matches, with the emphasis placed on participation, teamwork, and having fun. We believe in nurturing a lifelong love of football, and one of the ways we do this is by celebrating individual contributions through our weekly Player of the Match awards. These not only recognise great performances but also effort, attitude, and moments of sportsmanship.
Our coaching team is committed to creating a positive and rewarding environment for all of our players. Through engaging and varied training sessions, we aim to develop both footballing ability and personal growth. We encourage players to express themselves, take on challenges, and support one another—on and off the field. By doing so, we’re building a team that’s not just growing in ability, but also in character, unity, and enjoyment of the beautiful game.
