Under the passionate leadership of Ant Blythe, Joe Potts, and Matt O’Brien, the Tytherington FC U12 Titans are ready to take their journey in the Mid Cheshire League to new heights. After an impressive debut season, the team is setting its sights on even greater success. Built on a foundation of unwavering commitment, unbreakable teamwork, and an infectious spirit of resilience, the Titans have proven that hard work truly pays off.
Over the last 12 months, the team has experienced remarkable growth. What started as a squad battling for consistency in the Stockport Metro has now evolved into an unbeaten force in the 2024/25 league campaign. Their only setback came in a thrilling Mid Cheshire League Cup final, where they narrowly lost 6-5 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out to a team from a higher division – a testament to their incredible tenacity and fighting spirit, having drawn 2-2 in normal time.
The trio of coaches – Ant, Joe, and Matt – focus on much more than just winning. They’re dedicated to developing well-rounded players who not only excel on the pitch but also embody the values of respect, hard work, and teamwork. Each Tuesday, the players put in the work with intense training sessions, preparing for the fast-paced, high-energy 9v9 matches every Saturday.
