Team Description:
Tytherington U17 Rovers proudly compete in the Mid Cheshire League, bringing passion, determination, and exceptional sportsmanship to every match. The team is widely recognised for its strong sense of unity and resilience, consistently demonstrating a commitment to developing both as footballers and as young individuals.
Led by Manager Peter Bebbington, with Coaches Stephen Joyce and Paul Brown, and administered by Team Secretary Hayley Moss, the Rovers take a well-rounded approach to the game. While performance and progression are important, equal emphasis is placed on respect, discipline, and teamwork—core values that shape not only their play but their identity as a squad.
With regular training sessions on Tuesday evenings, the players are well-prepared for their 11-a-side Sunday fixtures. Training focuses on technical development, tactical understanding, and strengthening the collective spirit of the team.
Off the pitch, the Rovers benefit from a dedicated network of coaches, players, and parents, forming a close-knit football community. It’s this shared commitment and passion that makes Tytherington U17 Rovers such a rewarding team to be part of—where growth, camaraderie, and a genuine love for the game come first.
